AECOM is seeking a Senior Program Manager to be based in Washington, DC .
AECOM is a premier consulting firm and a top 10 contractor to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). We provide support to seven different DHS components and directorates, providing the government homeland security expertise for over 30 years. AECOM provides support services in portfolio and program management, engineering, RDT&E, subject matter expertise and develop requirements that are driven by DHS components as well as the needs of State, local, and private sector homeland security stakeholders.
Job Description Summary:
Assist the Task Order Manager in their execution of programs within the Research, Development, Test and Evaluation (RDT&E) process encompassing technology foraging and scouting; research and development; test and evaluation; systems & operational analysis and engineering; operational testing and integration; information management; technology transfer, transition, and commercialization; and risk management and mitigation.
Assist the Task Order Manager in the support of Operations and Requirements Analysis Division’s Customs and Border Protection (CBP) portfolio. Tasks will involve assisting the Portfolio Manager while working in a matrixed organization that requires significant collaboration and communication skills while being adaptable to rapidly changing priorities and tasks.
Position requires a self-motivated individual who can carry initiatives forward. This individual will be engaging on projects that are often technology focused so some knowledge of the technology without a detailed technical knowledge is required. Position requires the ability to work with Government staff to plan activities and priorities. The ability to craft presentations that are visually appealing and clearly relay often complex messages is important.

BA/BS + six (6) years or relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Must possess a valid driver's license and clean driving record
Must pass a State and Federal criminal history/security background check; many projects clients are security sensitive
Must be a US Citizen
Must possess or be able to obtain Top Secret or Secret security clearances
Must pass pre-employment drug screen
Physically able, with or without an accommodation, to work in an on-site indoor/office environment. Position requires often keyboard/mouse operations; occasionally standing/walking; rarely working with arms above shoulder level, repetitive bending/stooping, climbing stairs, repetitive or fine hand movements, and lifting 50 pounds or less
- BA/BS + 15 years of relevant experience or Master’s + 10 years of relevant experience
