Job Description
AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly talented SSP Financial and Fleet Specialist for immediate employment in the Richmond, VA office. This position will be a direct report to the Project Manager with direct communications with staff throughout the state.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Performs daily operation and control of multiple Inventory Management Systems.
Maintains records, replenishes stock, and plans for future requirements based on orders from the Field Service and Operations Departments.
Oversight and enforce scheduling, tracking and execution of servicing fleet and agency vehicles.
Evaluates inventory levels and distribution of resources when reorders are necessary.
Supervises the shipment and receipt of materials for all operational locations
Equipment cost, usage and failure analysis.
Assist in the oversight of preventative maintenance and safety checks to ensure operability of fleet vehicles.
May perform receiving, stocking, distributing, and packing in addition to inventory control.
Manage inventory usage records and prepares reports
Budget management while supervising inventory of materials to meet required supply.
Documents warehouse shipping and receiving information.
Receives issuing documents and reviews for proper codes and approval signatures.
Implement organization and purchase of employee uniform program
Ensures shipping, receiving, storage, and distribution are performed in an efficient manner.
Retains and reviews warehouse supplies, invoice documents and reports
Takes precautions to secure assets and minimize loss due to outdated or overstocked materials.
Additional responsibilities as assigned by the project management team.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
BA/BS plus 4 years of relevant experience or AA/AS plus 6 years of relevant experience or HS/GED plus 8 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience in asset management and or Procurement as well as warehousing and stores activities.
Must pass a State and Federal criminal history/security background check; must also successfully complete Virginia Department of Transportation fingerprint-based Criminal History Records Check (CHRC).
Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
Must participate in and successfully complete a post-offer, pre-employment fitness for duty questionnaire.
Physically able, with or without an accommodation, to work in indoor (office) environments. Position requires often standing/walking, operation of vehicles, and keyboard/mouse operations; occasionally performing work with arms above shoulder level, repetitive bending/stooping, climbing stairs, and lifting <25-50 pounds; rarely power gripping/squeezing (hand tools, levers, etc.), and working alone in isolated/remote areas.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business administrations/management.
Extensive knowledge of Inventory Management and control disciplines, Storekeeping methods and practices.
Computerized inventory record keeping systems.
Computer logic and material support programs.
Common business practices relating to the purchase, pricing, terms, shipment, taxes, and payment for commodities and services.
Effective in written and oral communications.
Make arithmetical computations (multiplication, division, percentage calculations, addition and subtraction).
Technical writing skills to include grammar editing and content flow
Office and/or field environment.
Subject to short or no notice work assignments.
Travel to various statewide offices may be required.
National Safety Council Lift Truck Operator Certificate (or obtainable within 90 days of hire).
Project management experience (a plus).
Additional Information
This position does not include sponsorship for United States work authorization.
This position does not include relocation benefits.
This is NOT a remote position but located on the client site locations.
Opportunities for overtime hours and pay are also available.
Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $30.00/hour - $35.00/hour.
