A combination of the following responsibilities under the direction of a professional or experienced engineer:
Prepares drawings using computer aided design software including Revit and AutoCAD.
Designs heating, ventilating, air conditioning mechanical systems such as ductwork and heating/cooling piping layout and sizing
Designs of plumbing and fire suppression systems is a plus
Takes direction from senior mechanical engineering staff
Performs mechanical design calculations and standard computations such as building heating and cooling loads.
Applies standard practices and techniques in specific situations, adjusts and correlates data, recognizes discrepancies in results and follows operations through series of related detailed steps or process.
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or related degree
Two (2) years or more of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Strong verbal presentation and communication skills
Passed the Fundamentals of Engineering exam
Experience with Autodesk's AutoCAD and Revit design software
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project
