AECOM is actively seeking an Environmental Field Service Technician for employment to be a task leader for a variety of military environmental projects (i.e., Remedial Investigations, Feasibility Studies, and Remedial Actions) within the Federal sector in Guam. A minimum of 6+ years of relevant experience with a successful work history of environmental investigation and remediation projects.
The candidate must also be able to work as part of a project team comprised of AECOM staff and subcontractors. Flexibility to work on a multitude of diverse projects, a positive attitude, and commitment to workplace health and safety are imperative.
Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:
Performs more complex tasks and may oversee the work of other technicians.
Performs assignments of substantial variety and complexity under general supervisory direction. Receives objectives and technical advice from supervisor or scientist.
Will compile data and compute results on a variety of scientific procedures and techniques.

We provide advisory and technical services to help clients cleanup and close contaminated sites and surplus operational facilities and restore them for reuse, plan and permit new facilities, address critical climate change issues, restore habitats and water quality, protect natural and cultural resources, maintain compliance, and cost effectively manage residuals and wastes.
High School + 6 years of relevant experience in environmental remediation and water treatment plant operation
Valid driver’s license.
Due to the nature of the work, US Citizenship is required, for access to DoD project sites
Ability to successfully obtain a DBIDs pass to gain access to any required federal military installation site locations
Ability to travel at least 50% of the time
Must successfully pass preemployment background check and drug screening
15+ years of experience is ideal
Drilling operations supervision experience.
Knowledge and experience working with local Guam environmental
Experience military munitions response and environmental projects
Possess current 40-Hour HAZWOPER and Supervisor certifications and be able to meet the medical clearance requirements of an OSHA (HAZWOPER) medical surveillance physical examination
Effective oral communication skills
Experience using Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint)
Field work experience, including oversight of subcontractors.
Ability to work as part of a project team comprised of AECOM staff and subcontractors.
