Job Description

AECOM is seeking an Environmental Engineer in Honolulu, HI.

This position is expected to begin in August 2 023 .

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Utilizes basic scientific principles, theories, practices, and existing technologies to develop solutions for technical problems with limited scope

  • Collects and enters data and applies technical principles and theories

  • Interprets and records data, conducts analyses, compares findings to relevant studies and local, state and federal regulations to ensure compliance

  • Entry-level position; may not require previous experience

Qualifications

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's Degree in environmental science, Environmental Engineering, and geology

  • Valid Driver's License is required

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:​

  • Master’s Degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Geology, or related discipline

  • US Citizenship, for access to DoD project sites

  • Experience military emergency response and environmental projects

  • Effective oral and written communication skills

  • Experience using Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint) and preparing technical reports

  • Experience using ArcGIS and generating maps and report figures

  • Excellent skills in written and spoken communication (including polished client presentation skills), organization, time management
