AECOM Administrative Assistant II in Houston, Texas

Job Summary

AECOM is seeking for a Administrative Assistant II to be based in Houston, Texas.

The job responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

  • Answer and direct phone calls

  • Organize and schedule appointments

  • Assist with Planning projects and department meetings and take detailed minutes

  • Write and distribute email, correspondence memos, letters, and forms

  • Assist in the preparation of project progress reports

  • Develop and maintain a filing system for projects

  • Book travel arrangements

  • Submit and reconcile expense reports

  • Provide general support to visitors

  • Act as the point of contact for internal and external clients

  • Liaise with executive and senior administrative assistants to handle request and queries from senior managers

Minimum Requirements

  • Highschool Diploma + two (2) years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an administrative assistant

  • Knowledge of office management systems and procedures

  • Work experience in consulting industry

  • Working knowledge of office equipment (such as phones, printers, and scanners)

  • Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS word)

  • Advanced knowledge and experience with MS Excel

  • Familiarity with MS PowerPoint software or experience in preparing presentation slides

  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work

  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
