AECOM Chemist II - Denver in Houston, Texas
AECOM is looking for an experienced Project chemist to support AECOM's remediation practice, this position would report to the Denver, Colorado office. This is a 100% remote telework position and this role can sit anywhere in the United States.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Validate analytical chemical data in accordance with DoD, USEPA National, USEPA Regional, and State guidelines.
Solicit analytical laboratory services and evaluate for project use.
Act as liaison between laboratory, field team, and project management during project implementation.
Prepare data usability summaries included in client deliverables.

Able to work with minimal supervision
A self-learner with the ability to multi-task and adapt to shifting priorities.

BA or BS in Chemistry, Environmental Science, or other related area.
Minimum 2 years of experience in environmental analytical chemistry, either as a laboratory analyst, data validator, or combination of both.
Valid Driver's license.
Preferred 4 years of experience in environmental analytical chemistry, either as a laboratory analyst, data validator, or combination of both.
US Citizen/US Permanent Resident.
Candidate must be proficient with basic computer programs; Microsoft Suite Programs.
Project Chemist experience.
Quality Assurance Project Plans (QAPPs) development.
Familiarity with FUDSChem or EQuIS databases is a plus.
Relocation is not available for this position.
Due to the nature of this role, US citizenship is required.
Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The salary range is 47490 - 77,000 annually
