AECOM Projects Coordinator in Houston, Texas

Job Summary

AECOM is actively seeking a Projects Coordinator to schedule and track staff availability across multiple disciplines to support multiple concurrent and pending large and complex design projects for a virtual design center. Employee location in Central, Mountain or Pacific time zone preferred

Job Responsibilities:

  • The Projects Coordinator will support the virtual design center manager, and discipline leads in monitoring and scheduling staff and project status to deliver concurrent multi-discipline water and wastewater projects for the AECOM US West Water organization, with collaboration ties to other national and international AECOM organizations with responsibilities including but not limited to:

  • Collaborate with and communicate regularly with engineers, designers and support staff to monitor availability and schedule utilization.

  • Support design managers and discipline leads with staff and project scheduling through all design phases.

  • Serve as a point of contact for resource scheduling.

  • Provide backup support to design center manager, including developing innovative measures to improve operational efficiency.

  • Help select and utilize optimal software, tools and protocols for scheduling and project tracking.

  • May work remotely or from a local office.

Minimum Requirements

  • BA/BS + 8 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience across multiple disciplines supporting multiple large and complex design projects

  • 10+ years of industry specific experience

Additional Information:

  • Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The salary range is $90,000-$160,000/annually (exempt).
