The job responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
Provides project and technical task management for one or more simultaneous projects.
Identifies problems, determines accuracy and relevance of information, uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and makes recommendations.
Good presentation and communication skills in English. Good report and proposal writing skills.
Client Relationships: Ability to assist in developing new client relationships and to strengthen existing client relationships. Ability to identify, understand and focus on clients’ key requirements.
Commercial: Commercially aware, clear understanding of factors that affect risk and profitability.
Team leadership: good team leadership skills. Self-starter, energetic, pro-active.
Strong Team player.
Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering/ Maritime Engineering, + 4 years of related design experience in a variety of seaport related infrastructure; or demonstrated equivalency of experience and education
PE license required, TX preferred
Due to the nature of the work, US Citizenship is required
MS in Structural or Civil Engineering
10+ years design experience in a variety of seaport related infrastructure such as container, dry bulk, and liquid bulk terminal wharves and uplands.
Previous experience in leading projects to required quality, timeliness, and budget parameters.
Previous experience in maintaining client relationships.
Previous and current experience serving Houston, Texas based clients and projects.
Experienced in planning, design, and construction management
