AECOM Chemical Warfare Material Program Manager in Indianapolis, Indiana
AECOM is seeking a Chemical Warfare Material (CWM) Program Manager and Market Lead in the Huntsville AL area however, this opportunity may be based remotely. This exciting role is highly technical and requires an understanding of munitions, chemical warfare material project investigation and remediation experience. This is a client facing role which will continue to grow over time as the business develops.

Duties include but are not limited to:
Lead procurement and delivery of CWM programs.
Serve as a Deputy Program and Client Manager for the USACE Huntsville Center.
Lead proposal efforts including technical approach and team.
Supports delivery of existing CWM investigation, clean-up, and decontamination and disposal efforts.

BS/BA in engineering, environmental science, soil science, geology and or an earth science-related field
10+ years’ experience as a Project Manager of federal projects
Due to the nature of the work, US citizenship is required
High degree of self-motivation and the ability to work independently with limited supervision, as well as in a collaborative team environment
5 years’ experience managing CWM task order work for USACE Huntsville Center
Minimum of five years working experience at Military Munitions Response (MMR)/CWM sites.
Experience with USACE Huntsville Center and Redstone Arsenal, AL
Proximity (one-hour drive) to USACE Huntsville Center and/or Redstone Arsenal
Demonstrated ability to manage projects to scope, schedule, and budget
Knowledge of project financial accounting, reporting, and controls
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including both oral and written
Advanced report writing skills
Organizational management skills and ability to perform detail-oriented work
Self-motivated, driven, and hard working
Experienced on MMR programs, including CWM and advanced geophysical classification
Experience managing CWM projects for the USACE Huntsville Center and/or Redstone Arsenal.
Demonstrated proposal-writing skills, Multiple Award Task Order Contract proposals
Demonstrated ability to market and win work successfully and effectively
Advanced knowledge of DoD and USACE MMR focusing on CWM requirements and processes
Excellent and relevant references
Position may require travel
