Job Description
AECOM is seeking an Entry Level Structural Engineer to be based in Indianapolis, Indiana .
This position is expected to begin in March 2024.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Assist in the structural analysis and preparation of design calculations.
Develop or assist in developing structural details and construction plans.
Prepare geometric/bridge layouts, construction specifications, and material quantity calculations.
Successfully interface with staff from a range of other disciplines (highway, traffic, civil, planning, etc.) to support a diverse range of projects.
Create new and better ways to solve clients’ toughest challenges through a strong commitment to innovation.
Always strive to give clients the best solutions and remain client focused.
Maintain a high level of integrity by always doing the right thing in an ethical, fair, and sustainable way.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
Preferred Qualifications:
Degree focus on bridges or structures.
Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
Demonstrated experience of collaboration in a diverse and inclusive team, working together toward technical excellence.
Strong technical and communication skills with a commitment to quality.
Familiarity with AASHTO and ALDOT design and standards.
Computer skills desired include Finite Element Software, Bridge Design Software, Microsoft Office, and Computer Aided Drafting - preferably MicroStation.
Progress toward professional licensure.

Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The salary range is $55,030-75,666/annually (exempt).
