AECOM Project Civil Engineer in Indianapolis, Indiana

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Serve as the project manager for civil engineering design on projects for dam, mining, water/wastewater, and power projects.
Coordinate and support growth of business development of local and regional clients (new and existing).
Support department operations and financial management.
Team with senior staff to deliver presentations, technical proposals, regulatory agency permits.
Perform assignments requiring application of standard techniques, procedures and criteria to carry out engineering tasks.
Prepare technical memoranda and design reports, figures, and drawings.
Coordinate and integrate civil design with results from geotechnical, structural, mechanical, and electrical designs.
Provide mentoring and leadership to junior engineers.
Demonstrate ability to build trusting working relationships with clients and colleagues.
Participate actively in client meetings.
Recognize potential opportunities for additional work within existing projects or for existing clients.
- Bachelor’s degree in either Civil, Mining, Mechanical or Geotechnical Engineering and four (4) years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
8+ years of relevant years of experiences
Experience working on water resources, water/wastewater, and civil design projects.
Professional Engineering License or EIT (with availability to obtain PE within 1 year).
This position does not include sponsorship for United States work authorization.
Relocation assistance is not provided for this role.
Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The midpoint of the salary range is $97,153.12 annually.
