AECOM Hunt - Central Region’s in seeking for a VDC Engineer to work in Business Development out the Innovation Center in Indianapolis, IN supporting our operations team in creating content for proposals in accordance with RFP requirements. This includes creating visual graphics, animations and VR using BIM tools, processes and workflows to the highest level of quality possible.

This position performs all functions and responsibilities in partnership with the company’s culture, corporate vision, ethics and code of conduct.
Must be computer savvy and have the ability to type and utilize keyboard functions to navigate multiple programs and screens quickly and accurately
Proficient in creating 3D models as need for visual graphics and other downstream workflows
Translate design sketches and CAD documents to 3D models
Support operations with the use of 3D generated site logistics and site phasing
Provide a 4D simulation with Synchro for construction sequencing and track critical path evolutions by linking 3D models to the construction schedule
Proficient in the use of graphics related software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and other publishing software
Must have a basic understanding of BIM and VDC
Maintain and expand knowledge base in advanced graphic and 3D software through continued use and training
Position requires occasional travel to support operations
To perform other responsibilities/duties through personal initiative or as directed by management
Incumbent is involved in the design, implementation, application and continuous updating of technology based on industry standards and the company’s operating needs.
Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Computer Graphics or Construction Management + None or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Previous internship experience
Knowledge in Revit and Navisworks
