Shimmick Construction, an AECOM Company, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to be based in our Southern California region.
Brief Job Description:
Responsible for project development, resource management, and supervision of construction activities for large heavy civil transit and transportation projects including contract administration and management of scope, schedule, budget, quality, safety, and change management. Responsible for overall project performance including job profit and loss for construction projects.
Typical Duties and Responsibilities:
Coordination and integration of multidisciplinary project functions including but not limited to construction, project controls, quality and commercial administration in a manner to meet project operational and business objectives.
Responsible to establish a culture of safe work performance.
Plans, schedules, and coordinates all facets for construction of large transit and or transportation projects including design build projects.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field is required.
- 10 plus years experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
California Professional Engineering License
Transit/Transportation including light rail estimating experience AND/OR water/wastewater experience
250m+ project experience
- We utilize Hard Dollar and experience with it is ideal, preferred to have experience in either Hard Dollar or HCSS, but experience in any estimating software is acceptable
Mastery of Excel
Experience in Bluebeam or other on screen take-off type program
Experience in P6 is a plus, but not required
