AECOM is seeking an experienced Project Architect to be based in Kansas City, MO. This candidate lead and execute interdisciplinary projects with a focus on Sports, Public Assembly, and Higher Education projects.
Responsible for providing architectural guidance, calculations, analysis, studies and recommendations for a specialized segment of the Architectural Discipline within the schedules and budget of an assigned project.
May manage various size groups of architects, designers and/or specialists.
May work on modest size projects and/or assist Project Architectural or Engineering Managers with higher grades.
- BA/BS in Architecture or related field + 6 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Highly Proficient in Autodesk RevitMaster’s degree in Architecture
Experience with Bluebeam, Navisworks and Dynamo
Experience with Adobe Photoshop and InDesign
Proficiency with Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Ability to meet quality, schedule and budget expectations
Desire to be mentored by leadership and provide mentorship to junior staff
Detail-oriented and technical, yet experienced enough to see the big picture
Must be a highly motivated self- starter with solid writing and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and lead large groups of technical minded people with minimal oversight
Ability to multi-task and be flexible and able to adapt to rapidly changing project requirements and deadlines
Ability to apply passion and enthusiasm for design in a collaborative and progressive team- oriented work environment
