AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Airside Coordinator + NAVAIDS Electrical for immediate employment in the Lima, Peru office.
Our Lima Airport project team is seeking an Airside Coordinator for the Lima, Peru Airport project. This person will coordinate all airside design items for the design of the new airport with airport staff. The Airside Coordinator requires to have a technical background in civil engineering or closely related field, design and construction of runways, taxiways, airfield lighting and navigational aids and related facilities at large commercial service.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Responsible for coordination of all airside design items including airfield geometric layout, NAVAIDS, grading and drainage, airfield signage, and airfield electrical design
Responsible for local coordination with agencies and vendors responsible for airport operations NAVAIDS and airfield lighting
Provides on-site support for NAVAIDS and airfield electrical including meetings with stakeholders, data collection, coordination with client and subcontractor, and support to MEP and ICT coordinators
Role includes direct coordination with client and subcontractor regarding all airfield design and operational issues, and communication to the design team regarding Client requirements and design solutions
Responsible for ensuring the safe, secure and efficient on Airside designs, and in compliance with all aerodrome design regulations, and advising stakeholders on airport and aircraft operational concerns and recommending changes where necessary
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineer
10+ years of experience in NAVAIDS and airfield electrical design and construction
Experience in major airfield design and construction projects including runways, taxiways, aprons, NAVAIDS, and airfield lighting in major airfield design and construction projects
Experience as a project management assistant
Master's Degree in Engineering
