AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly talented BIM Coordinator for employment in our Bogota, Colombia office. Project is located in Lima, Peru.
Our Lima Airport project team is seeking a BIM Coordinator to assist in the design coordination process facilitation construction by applying BIM and CAD standards technologies in the design phase. This role will be the lead BIM coordinator for design and construction drawings, specifications, reports and studies for the cross-team support for BIM software, ensuring all models are compatible and BIM data is available to all project participants. The skills required for this role include client coordination, knowledge of BIM software, use, and application, knowledge of building services prerequisites and a collaborative support with the design team and other disciplines to identify goals and communicate procedural changes.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Coordinate BIM standards, templates, automation routines, documentation and workflow process standards with Client
Coordinate requirements with BIM managers Technicians to ensure BIM standards are maintained in the creation of 3D models
Coordinate early design review and constructability analysis with the client and design team
Participates in project meetings related to BIM execution and deliverables for the project
Interpret Architectural and Structural drawings and details for developing framing models in Revit
Responsible for holding regular meetings with Client and Subcontractor
Client liaison and relationship management
Requirements management and validation
Ensuring that the BIM quality of project meets agreed standards, specifications and delivery schedules
Maintain a reliable and consistent written and verbal communication interface with different BIM geographies involve in the project
Responsible for coordinating stakeholder input for BIM related items
10+ years of production experience in architecture, design, drafting or engineering
Flexible, detail-oriented team player with the ability to work with multiple stakeholders while consistently producing quality results and meeting deadlines
Ability to use productively, maximize efficiency and meet challenging work goals
Knowledge in Autodesk Revit, NavisWorks & AutoCAD ? Knowledge of basic construction process's and procedures ? Advanced PC skills, specifically Microsoft Windows Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint
Bilingual needed (Spanish , English)
