Job Summary

AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Geotechnical Seismic Expert for immediate employment in the Lima, Peru office.

Our Lima Airport project team is seeking a Geotechnical Seismic Expert to assist in the coordination of seismic, geotechnical and structural design for the Lima, Peru Airport project. The skills required for this role include client coordination, expertise on Geotechnical Seismic aspects and collaborative support with the design team located in other geographies.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for coordination of all seismic, geotechnical and structural design issues internally within the project team and externally with Airport Operator and Client

  • Role includes local coordination of seismic design requirements, seismic design alternatives, and seismic design value engineering

  • Responsibility includes daily and weekly communication with the structural design team and architectural design team

  • Responsible for coordination with local government agencies regarding seismic design requirements and approvals

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering

  • 15+ years experience in geotechnical analysis, structural design, and seismic design

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Engineering

  • 15+ years of experience

  • Prefer seismic experience in Lima and or other areas of Peru

  • Bilingual preferred
