Job Summary

AECOM Peru is in search of a Project Controls Specialist who will suypport the Lima Airport expansion and renovation project.

The ideal candidate will serve as an expert in the use of Scheduling Softwares (P6 and MS Project) Define or propose formats and processes for the best control of project schedule. Prepare and / or review general and detailed schedules. Integrate the project master schedule. It anticipates possible delays and works with the team on proposals for correction and / or recovery.

  • Follow up on the physical and financial advances of the project and contractors. Understand financial and time terminology. Recognize the negative impact to the project when there are delays. Prepare a forecast of compliance dates of the project milestones with emphasis on the most relevant.

  • He is an expert in the use of scheduling systems for large construction projects (P6 mandatory). Prepare reports and presentations.

  • Reviews and approves output from project cost and schedule systems. Prepares or reviews presentations based on system output.

  • Creates and assists with cost schedule baseline.

  • Prepares and assists in various levels of project reporting. Key contributor in the preparation of monthly status report.

  • Exhibits expert ability to use drawings and specifications in the establishment of project baseline data.

  • Utilizes extensive knowledge of construction contracting including the manner in which contract type effects implementation of project controls systems.

  • Evaluates manpower, labor hours and installation curves.

  • Dar seguimiento a la gestión de los procesos de control de proyecto del contratista, así como revisión de reportes y sus indicadores (KPIs):

  • Asistir al Jefe de Supervisión (RE) en la verificación del alcance, tiempo y costo del contrato de construcción, identificando las desviaciones.

  • Asistir al Jefe de Supervisión (RE) en la revisión de los cronogramas del contratista.

  • Preparar, dar seguimiento y control de las líneas base de tiempo y costos.

  • Asistir en la gestión de los cambios del contratista, así como en las proyecciones del forecast del contrato y análisis de variaciones.

  • Asistir al Jefe de Supervisión (RE) en la emisión de los reportes diarios, semanales y / o mensuales sobre el estado del contrato de construcción.

  • Revisar la documentación de soporte para validar los estados de pago del contratista.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachiller graduado universitario en Ingeniería, administración o carreras afines

  • 4+ años de experiencia en Gerencia de Proyectos o Supervisión de Proyectos de gran escala.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Conocimiento e interpretación de las normas y especificaciones de diseño y construcción, ISO y normas de seguridad.

  • Conocimiento de los procedimientos constructivos

  • Experiencia en consultoría de gestión o experiencia en diseño y construcción (EPC/EPCM) en grandes empresas multinacionales

  • Bilingüe inglés/español.

  • Disponibilidad inmediata.
