Job Description

Aecom requests Reforestation Project Manager for project in Piura

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Leadership in the preparation of technical content proposals and management of reforestation projects (consulting, engineering and audit)

  • Has full responsibility for interpreting, organizing, executing and coordinating environmental participation tasks for reforestation.

  • Performs various management, leadership and people responsibility responsibilities for a specific technical group or department.

  • Plans and develops engineering tasks related to unique or controversial problems. This involves exploring the topic area, defining the scope and selecting problems for research, and developing novel concepts and approaches.

  • Maintains liaison with units within the organization and people inside and outside the organization.

  • Responsible for acting independently on technical matters specific to the field. Work at this level generally requires extensive progressive experience.

  • Works under minimal supervision. The supervision received is essentially administrative and assignments are assigned in terms of broad objectives and general limits.

  • Leads the technical group, coordinating the unit's activities.

  • Under limited supervision, manages one or more ES&H functions within an ES&H department or group within a subsidiary.

  • Can manage reforestation and environmental functions in a large project.

  • Is fully competent in most aspects of the job.

  • Work is complex and requires independent evaluation, selection, adaptation and modification of standard techniques, procedures and criteria.

  • Uses independent judgment and provides solutions to a wide range of difficult problems.

  • Work is reviewed upon completion to determine if it is adequate to meet objectives.

Qualifications

Requisitos mínimos:

+ + 8 YORE or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

Experience:

  • Experience leading teams

  • Experience in reforestation projects, forestry agricultural entities and/or large-scale projects.

  • Experience working in international engineering/consulting companies.

  • 15 YEARS of general experience in Forestry / Landscaping / Reforestation Projects

  • 10 YEARS of experience leading teams

Prefer:

  • Knowledge of NEC Contracts

  • Knowledge of Peruvian Investment Projects System (Government / MEF)

  • English level: Intermediate

  • Engineering Degree in: Civil Engineering, Forestal Engineering, Agronomy, Environmental Engineering or related fields

  • Updated Local Peruvian License: Colegio de Ingenieros del Perú (CIP)
