AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Terminal Lead/Ancillary Buildings for immediate employment in the Lima, Peru office.
Our Lima Airport project team is seeking a Terminals Lead and Ancillary Buildings Coordinator for the Lima, Peru Airport project. The ideal person will be responsible for design coordination of all building design including passenger terminal, air traffic control tower, aircraft fire and rescue building, and ancillary buildings.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Coordinate, direct and oversee all architecture design related functions with an on eye strategy for new building designs and terminal assets
Coordinate the activities of the different Aecom geographic teams so that the teams are operating at optimum efficiency to ensure that the most effective support is provided to subcontractor and client
Assist the Site Design Manager in setting and meeting contract goals within budgetary constraints
Oversee resource planning involving scheduling staff
Planning workflow to achieve the Facilities design goals as well as aligning them with stakeholder requirements
Responsible for design coordination of all building design including passenger terminal, air traffic control tower, aircraft fire and rescue building, and ancillary buildings
Coordinate Facility design teams by providing quality leadership and guidance to achieve client’s requirement at minimal cost
Daily communication to Design Team to meet client commitments and deadlines
Daily coordination and communication with the architectural, MEP and structural discipline leads to ensure timely resolution of design issues
Responsible for direct communication with Airport Operator and Client staff regarding all building design issues
Understands the role in the team and strives to ensure all team work is delivered efficiently and to a high standard
Communicates openly, respectfully and clearly with colleagues at all levels, and encourages others to do the same
Continuously strives to find the best ways to deliver to customers and encourages others to do the same
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture
10+ years of experience in airfield passenger terminal and other airport building construction projects including passenger terminal design and construction, air traffic control towers, and ancillary support buildings
Master's Degree in Engineering or Architecture
15+ years of experience
Airport or transportation facilities preferred
