Job Description
AECOM is seeking a Construction Project Manager Director to be based in New York, NY. Will Operate as a Construction Manager will manage the day-to-day activities of the construction project.
Complete accountability and direction for entire project, from pre-construction phase to completion and is the primary liaison between AECOM and client interface.
Accountable for all facets of the project are constructed in accordance with design, budget, and schedule.
Overall responsibility and management of project including but not limited to pre-construction budgeting/schedule stage, procurement, through contract closeout.
Position has primary fiscal responsibility and key liaison between client for assigned project.
Qualifications
BA/BS plus 12 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education, including 4 years of leadership
Must be a US Citizen- Due to the nature of the work

Preferred Qualifications
Strong writing and communication skills required.
15 years of experience required for this requisition
Must have experience coordinating with Designers and managing Construction Management teams and General Contractors for multiple complex projects in an urban environment.
Strongly recommend extensive experience working with large agencies in the NY metro area (ex. NYCHA, SCA, DDC…).
Must be comfortable coordinating with a Program Management team for extensive reporting in addition to daily project oversight, and communication with the client and upper management.
Must understand Construction Means and Methods and prefer having technical understanding of heating (boiler) type projects.
Will oversee 10+ heating projects under construction.

Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The salary range for this position is $176,000 - $250,000.
