Job Description
AECOM is seeking a Construction Manager for Long Beach, CA
Job responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
Provides guidance to employees within the latitude of established policies.
Establishes procedures that affect immediate organization.
Works on issues of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors, including understanding of current business trends.
Acts as advisor to subordinates to meet schedules and/or resolve technical problems.
May have budget responsibilities.
Erroneous decision or failure to achieve results adds to costs and may impact short-term goals of organization.
Oversees the administration of projects during the construction cycle including technical, financial, and client satisfaction.
Accountable for the development, coordination, and execution of the planning, design and/or construction management activities and personnel under individual's direction on a day-to-day
Qualifications
Minimum requirements:
- BA/BS + 8 Years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Preferred requirements:
Educational experience in California, K-14
Oversight of General Contractor
Oversight of project site activities
Risk mitigation
Experience with client interface
Processing of RFI's, submittals, and project documentation
familiar with schedule and budget reviews
interface with Project consultants; Architect, Inspectors, etc.

Sponsorship for this position is not available now or in the future.
Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $145,000.00 - $175,000.00.
