Job Description

AECOM is seeking a Design Manager to be based in Los Angeles, CA.

This position is contingent upon an expected contract award.

Job specifics include:

  • Responsible for management of multi-disciplinary designs and/or technical design reviews.

  • Coordinating design consultants and contractor submissions.

  • Ability to work independently with good technical knowledge.

  • Project management and commercial experience.

  • Undertake detailed technical reviews from concept through detailed design

  • Design management for infrastructure and or building projects

  • Managing and coordinating design submissions from contractors and designers

  • Coordination of different design disciplines

  • Coordination and management across different sectors and interfaces

  • Documentation management using appropriate software and systems

  • Preparation of Scope of Works and Requests for Proposals

  • Technical assessment of tenders and proposals

  • Quality management and compliance with design procedures

  • Monitoring and reporting on program and cost control

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree plus 6 (six) years of experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Licensed Architect in the State of California

  • DBIA certification

  • Sponsorship is not available for this position.

Offered rate of compensation (California locations only) will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The salary range for this position is $90,000-$160,000.
