AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Project Manager for immediate employment in the Orange, CA office. The Project Manager will lead design teams of internal and external technical staff. Immediate focus will be on projects in the DoD and Federal Sectors. The location of this position can be based in the Orange or Los Angeles, CA office.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, those listed below:
Project Management of team members, schedules and financials
Participation in project pursuits
Driving Quality Assurance system project wide
Technical familiarity to represent the team alone in certain events
Interact and work with diverse set of clients and subcontractors
Ownership of project financials
Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering discipline (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing), Architecture (BArch), or Construction Management
5+ years of solid project management experience within a consulting, design-build, or construction firm
Professional Licensure ( PE or RA, equivalent)
Project management experience of multiple discipline projects, including leadership of architectural staff
Experience with AutoCAD
Experience with sustainable design
Experience with Design Build and other Alternative Delivery practices
Excellent communication skills: articulate, assertive and confident
Creative thinker with effective teamwork skills
Thrive in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team
Enjoy developing innovative solutions to challenging opportunities
Have a high degree of integrity, professional ethics, respect and responsibility
Bring energy and enthusiasm to the office
The ability to multitask, and effectively prioritize responsibilities
The ability to manage a client, and understand how to tactfully say no when appropriate

Ability to analyze and provide solutions
Ability to direct and indirectly influence discipline leaders of a project
Due to the nature of the work, US Citizenship is required
10+ years' experience preferred
Experience with Revit
Microsoft Project familiarity
Experience in the following markets:
Federal Civilian & Local Government
