Job Summary

AECOM is searching for an energetic and forward-thinking Senior Manager of Employer Brand to join our team. Reporting to the Director of Employer Brand within our Brand Strategy Center of Excellence, this role will help execute a comprehensive, integrated employer brand strategy, creating and implementing tactics to build the AECOM brand in the talent marketplace and within the organization. Applying best practices and approaches from brand marketing, digital media and communications to HR and culture programs, this role will help create internal engagement and connection with the brand and position AECOM as an employer of choice within the industry. Candidates are encouraged to include links to their relevant social media handles and/or digital portfolios.

Responsibilities include:

  • Partner with business, communications and talent stakeholders to develop innovative ways to communicate and share the employee value proposition

  • Support talent recruiting strategy across broad-ranging candidate profiles and geographies

  • Advance efforts to optimize the candidate journey from job search to hire, and the employee journey from hire to onboarding to engagement and growth, including key digital and physical touchpoints

  • Ensure internal programs that impact employee experience align to and reinforce our brand values and promise (i.e. benefits & wellness, HR systems, employee engagement survey, performance management, and learning and development)

  • Develop global and local internal campaigns that build brand affinity and advocacy amongst employees. Support and help build brand ambassadors program

  • Explore and help articulate a vision for AECOM office environments

  • Leverage existing internal and external communications channels to articulate and advance a personal and inspirational brand story and employee value proposition.

  • Provides counsel to and partners with colleagues across the organization to deliver branded, integrated communications and social media

  • Monitor emerging marketing and media trends, executions and channels; Develop a POV and recommendations as relevant

Minimum Requirements

Successful candidates must possess brand marketing, internal and external communications, and social media expertise in the following areas: implementation of evergreen, campaign and event content and communications plans; audience engagement techniques; social media best practices; and monitoring and metrics. Additional skills, experience and attributes include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing or related field

  • 8-10 years in brand management, B2B marketing, communications, employment branding, talent acquisition, or related function within an agency or fast-paced, in-house team

  • Demonstrated experience driving communication campaigns and brand stories from concept to completion with minimal guidance

  • Thrives in a fast-paced culture of change and innovation; Productive in uncertainty, champion of change and open to experimentation and taking strategic risks

  • Exceptional and influential communication and presentation skills

  • Ability to work independently, lead initiatives and collaborate at various levels

  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and re-prioritize as needed

  • Adept at working in a highly matrixed, global organization with multiple stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Business or related field
