Job Description
AECOM Hunt is seeking to hire a Senior Vice President Southern CA Area Manager to support the expansion of our Southern California Construction business. This position with be located out of our Los Angeles office.
Job Summary:
Responsible for client/project development, resource management, and supervision of construction activities as they relate to contract administration and management of scope, schedule, budget, quality, safety, and change management.
Responsible for overall project performance including job profit and loss for Construction projects. Job duties include but aren't limited to:
Coordination and integration of multidiscipline project functions including but not limited to construction, project controls, quality and commercial administration in a manner to meet project operational and business objectives.
Responsible to establish a culture of safe work performance. Actively engaged in developing and managing client relations.
Plans, schedules, and coordinates projects to repair, alter and renovate building structure and installed equipment, and supervise a multi-disciplined construction workforce performing work on multiple projects simultaneously.
Job Description:
Complete accountability and direction for entire project, from pre-construction phase to completion and is the primary liaison between AECOM and client interface.
Accountable for all facets of the project are constructed in accordance with design, budget and schedule.
Overall responsibility and management of project including but not limited to pre-construction budgeting/schedule stage, procurement, through contract closeout.
Position has primary fiscal responsibility and key liaison between client for assigned project.

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
BA/BS + extensive years of experience supporting construction projects or demonstrated equivalency of experience supporting construction projects and/or education, including 6 years of leadership.
Be able to indicate a substantial portfolio of commercial work
Preferred Requirements
Demonstrative ability to deliver on projects that are valued at a half a billion dollars or more
Experience with sports, aviation, convention center projects are preferred
Fundamental knowledge of CA Construction law and regulations is preferred
Knowledge of public procurement is preferred

Valid Driver’s License to operate an AECOM provided motor vehicle on construction project site(s) to support project tasks assignments and scope of work. For positions with driving responsibilities, Motor Vehicle Records are reviewed as part of AECOM’s background check process to ensure compliance with the Company’s driving standards.
Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $275,000.00 - $350,000.00.
