AECOM Civil Engineer II in Louisville, Kentucky

AECOM is currently seeking a Civil Engineer to take on a technical role on multi-discipline projects working out of either our Cincinnati, Indianapolis or Louisville office. The right candidate will have a a good understanding and knowledge in civil design engineering and modeling.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Prepare and write civil engineering reports and client proposals
Work with other engineering disciplines at AECOM to provide services for current and prospective clients, and actively participate in local, regional and global collaborative opportunities.
Maintain positive working relationships with client contacts, suppliers, contractors, engineering consultants and external agencies.
Provide support for senior engineers and project managers with respect to the designing, planning, and performing engineering duties on projects that include the prevention, control, and remediation of environmental health hazards utilizing various engineering disciplines.
The team is responsible for a wide range of designs and evaluations typically centering around the permitting, evaluation, design and construction administration of civil/environmental engineering projects
Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D to prepare grading plans and construction drawings for site development and other industrial client needs.
Perform assignments including calculations, engineering drawing preparation, document generation, technical writing, cost estimation, technical specifications, review of regulations, and other related services associated with the full scope of a civil/environmental engineering design project
Interact with multi-discipline and multi-office teams within AECOM

Bachelor's Degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering or related engineering field or demonstrated equivalency of experience
Willing to travel, if required.
Valid Driver's License
2+ years of civil site engineering experience
Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment background check and drug test
Engineer in Training (EIT) certification
Demonstrated capability/proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D. Knowledge of industry standard computer software for the position (examples include software such as additional versions of, AutoCAD, GIS, Hydrologic/Hydraulic models or other drainage and water modeling software)
Ability to perform engineering calculations and is familiar with standard civil design concepts/practices
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Strong organizational, technical and communication skills
Ability to work independently or within a team environment
