Job Summary

AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Senior Project Engineer for immediate employment for the Louisville, KY office.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • In tandem with management, develop and implement a planning and engineering business growth strategy in Kentucky (primary) and West Virginia

  • Maintaining and developing positive relationships with clients

  • Track and respond to client request for proposals

  • Develop new business opportunities for the KY (primary) and WV offices.

  • Serve as Project Manager and responsible for coordinating and managing assigned projects including adherence to budget and schedule

  • Serve as Project Engineer and responsible for accurate and through completion of assigned tasks and assignments

  • Perform complex variety of calculations and computations

  • Perform contract documentation duties including maintaining required documentation

  • Organize contract documents and maintain structured filing system

  • Perform constructible reviews

  • Assume role of Highway Safety Engineer for the Kentucky office

Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum Requirements

  • BS in Civil Engineering

  • 15 + years of experience

  • Knowledge of the Kentucky transportation planning, design, construction, operations and maintenance industry

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Excellent client relationship development

  • Successful project delivery track record

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Must poses a valid driver's license

  • Ability to oversee and develop junior staff and aides

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with KYTC Policies and Procedures

  • Knowledge of KYTC related software

  • Project Management experience
