Position Title EHS Auditor
Mexico - México, State of
AECOM is seeking an EHS Auditor to be based in our Mexico City Office, Mexico location. This discipline is responsible to provide EHS consulting services for a wide range of industrial and commercial sectors. The position is responsible for providing consulting services related to compliance assessment of all applicable EHS laws, norms and regulations, permitting, environmental impact assessments, EHS programs. Consulting services areas may also include EHS audits, EHS Management Systems (EMS), waste management, Due Diligence, or pollution control technology.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, those listed below:
Identify EHS significance aspects of the industrial and commercial sectors
Identify programs, projects, policies or actions towards adequate risk and pollution prevention and management
Develop plans and programs for prevention of environmental impacts and to comply with audit programs
EHS laws, regulations, NOMs and NMXs
Attend meetings with clients or representatives
Review reports related to compliance with the EHS regulations and provide recommendations for improvement
Recommend corrective actions on project activities
Provide support to other AECOM offices in EHS consulting services in Mexico
Bachelor’s Degree on Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Biology
4+ years of experience
Sound knowledge of EHS laws and regulations, NOMs, NMXs, etc.
Knowledge/Experience: EHS Audits, Permitting, Consulting services, Due Diligence, Impact Assessments, EHS Management Systems, Training
Proficient in English Language
Master's Degree in EHS Engineering
Environmental Auditor, EHS Management Systems Auditor
Registered as Professional Specialist in EHS Consulting Services (PROFEPA; STPS, EMA, others)
Ability to work independently and drive multiple simultaneous procurement processes
Strong Analytical and Problem Solving skills
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively (written/verbal) in both Spanish and English
