Job Summary

AECOM is actively seeking a highly talented, experienced and motivated Site Supervisor for immediate employment in our Mexico City office.

The Site Supervisor will be responsible for the Construction monitoring and report for all Build Projects, Build Programmes, and Dealer Projects. Site Supervisor will support construction project within programmes deadlines within a set of clear performance indicators. HSSE is the most important of the KPI’s and the Site Supervisor must show a strong track record in Construction delivery of HSSE processes and communication.

This role will require significant interaction with the Project Team, meanly with Construction and Pre Construction Managers to maintain seamless communications and client confidence on all project delivery progress. The program of work is fast moving and extremely demanding; this role will require strong follow up on the daily construction activities and leadership skills to motivate contractors.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Supervises the delivery of the facilities and within Client and AECOM HSSE requirements

  • Supports the delivery of construction on the programme

  • Supervises and reports the delivery of Construction within agreed budgets through the progress approval

  • Supports the NTI/NTS surveys (where appropriate)

  • Understands and leads the completion of the Quality Check List

  • Joins the information to prepare the turnover package (project book)

  • Reports the progress of construction through the schedule

  • Supports the training on site when is required

  • Prepares documentation on site aligned with the E2E process

  • Supervises and conducts the delivery of dealer projects and programmes to approved time and cost

  • Attends regular safety meetings, ensures messages conveyed to the construction staff and contractors, manages the safety messages into the projects and audits to give confidence that the safety is being implemented in accordance with client and AECOM HSSE processes and procedures. Feedbacks safety learning’s into the Safety Manager to provide continuous learning for the whole team

  • Member of Construction team with delivering projects to time, cost and quality standards

  • Supports the Construction Manager on the Meetings to deliver all the stages of project development; pre-construction meetings; regular site progress meetings; high quality handovers; support safety audits

  • For Dealer projects, ensures compliance to all brand standards while giving the solutions sufficient flexibility to meet the needs of the dealer business

  • Adherence to the defined supply chain partners will form a large part of this role; ensuring that they perform to required and agreed project execution plans to meet the clients desired outcome

  • Ensures that work is delivered within the agreed values of AECOM and the client

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 5+ years experience in an Construction Supervision role

  • A leader in compliance and ethics

  • HSSE Leadership

  • Confident and capable individual with strong client focus

  • Recognized construction or design qualification (or similar experience)

  • Experienced in leading and supervision of a diverse construction team

  • Strong track record in delivering projects in a fast moving and challenging environment

  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight dead-lines

  • Good grasp of IT, particularly Excel and Word

  • Must possess a valid driver's license

Preferred Qualifications

  • Engineering Degree or equivalent experience

  • Technical qualification

  • Petrochem knowledge/experience

  • Knowledge on the construction market
