Job Description
AECOM is seeking a Mid-level Civil Engineer experienced with water resources and/or municipal related projects for an opening in our Middleton, WI office. In this role you’ll have the opportunity to work on stormwater management projects including hydrologic, hydraulic, water quality design, and utility design infrastructure such as storm sewer, water main, and sanitary sewer. Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:
Providing technical support to water infrastructure projects including: design, analysis, inspection, construction observation, and regulatory compliance activities
Development of plans, specifications, and construction estimates.
Collaborate with teams for model and analysis for stormwater, wastewater, and water conveyance modeling and design, flood protection systems, and conveyance facilities, dams, reservoirs, levees, canals, tunnels.
Preparation of technical reports, memos, and engineering design and construction related documents.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in civil or environmental engineer and 4+ years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Wisconsin or other DOT transportation projects
Wisconsin Professional Engineering (PE) license or ability to obtain within 6 months.
Experience with drafting and modeling software such CADD i.e. Civil 3D and GIS.
Experience with HEC-RAS, XPSWMM, WinSLAMM, HydroCAD, HY-8, or other water resource modeling programs software preferred
Experience reviewing stormwater management reports and site or transportation construction plans.
Additional Information
Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $85,000.00 - $110,000.00.
