Job Description
The AECOM Transportation Business Line is actively seeking a highly motivated Construction Engineering Supervisor for immediate employment in our Middleton WI office with the work located within the Southwest Region (SWR) of the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT). The appropriately qualified applicant will be able to demonstrate an established career in the Construction Management/Construction Engineering & Inspection (CM/CEI) industry and have a successful track record of successful major WisDOT and Local/Municipal projects and clients. The applicant will have demonstrated experience in, developing teams, managing engineering and technical staff, past successful approaches to winning, leading and executing projects by working with staff, clients, subconsultants and construction contractors.
Job Responsibilities
The Construction Engineering Supervisor provides strategic plan and delivery on key Client CM/CEI project needs and initiatives; has the ability to hire, mentor, and expand the teams experience, client base and range, prepares and delivers presentations required to win the work, serves as the single point of contact to the client and acts as a liaison between management and clients on multi-disciplined projects.
Experience in being able to recognize opportunities for strategic growth and being able to build and lead teams to meet these opportunities
Establish relationships with both internal and external clients and customers, including industry associations and other potential consultant teams and construction contractors
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements :
Bachelor's degree plus six (6) years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Due to nature of work, US citizenship is required.
Valid Driver’s License Required
Preferred Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
Registered Professional Engineer in Wisconsin
10+ years of project and client management experience as well as proven success managing multiple concurrent projects
Travel may be required within the WisDOT SWR
Proficient with Microsoft Office

Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $125,000.00 - $165,000.00.
