AECOM's Transportation Group is looking to add a talented Construction Engineering Supervisor to its team to provide oversight to its construction, engineering, & inspection operations in Middleton, WI. This individual will hold the following responsibilities:
Performs various responsibilities for a specific technical group or department.
Has full responsibility for interpreting, organizing, executing, and coordinating technical assignments.
Generally requires multi-disciplinary knowledge of engineering.
Plans and develops engineering tasks concerned with unique or controversial problems. This involves exploration of subject area, definition of scope and selection of problems for investigation and development of novel concepts and approaches.
Maintains liaison with units within the organization and individuals inside and outside of the organization.
Responsible for acting independently on technical matters pertaining to the field. Work at this level usually requires extensive progressive experience.
Works under minimal supervision. Supervision received is essentially administrative with assignments given in terms of broad general objectives and limits.
Supervises group of engineers and/or technicians, coordinating activities of the unit.

BA/BS + 6 years of relevant experience within transportation construction or a demonstrated equivalency of this experience and or education.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and registered Professional Engineer in Wisconsin.
5 - 10 years of client and project management, including proven WisDOT Southwest Region (SWR) Construction Project Leader experience.
Construction management, inspection, and field support experience with local agencies, cities, and counties.
Ability to lead, build, and share teams to meet all opportunities that arise and are created within.
Establish and grow relationships with internal and external clients, business line leaders and other consultants.
Directly manage projects and support staff to unsure quality, budgets, and schedules are in accordance with specifications and policies.
Coordinate with clients and contractors to deliver quality projects on time and within budgets at all times.
Assist design disciplines as needed and with constructability questions and issues.
