AECOM Senior Mechanical/Pressure Systems Engineer in Moffett Field, California
AECOM is seeking a Senior Mechanical/Pressure Systems Engineer for immediate employment at Moffett Federal Airfield.

The Systems Engineer will have extensive experience with heavy equipment installation, pressure systems for air, liquids, gases, vacuum systems, boilers, piping fit up, welding, process piping installation as well as the start-up and test process.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Perform or monitor system/component periodic inspections and maintenance
Maintain the high-pressure system certification database
Mechanical design of process piping systems
System and load calculations, equipment selection, equipment specification, system design, system layout, field investigation, and construction support
Prepare design drawings, specifications, analysis findings, cost estimates, and written reports
Coordinate work with other project disciplines
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related plus six (6) years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Licensed Professional Engineer in California
Due to the nature of this work, US Citizenship is required

Valid driver’s license
Experience in process piping design and analysis
Proficiency with Caesar II pipe stress analysis software
Experience with the design, inspection, and certification of ASME Pressure Vessels
Working knowledge of ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code, Section VIII
