Job Description

  • Performs various management, leadership, and people accountability responsibilities for a specific technical group or department.

  • Has full responsibility for interpreting, organizing, executing, and coordinating technical assignments.

  • Generally requires multi-disciplinary knowledge of engineering.

  • Plans and develops engineering tasks concerned with unique or controversial problems. This involves exploration of subject area, definition of scope and selection of problems for investigation and development of novel concepts and approaches.

  • Maintains liaison with units within the organization and individuals inside and outside of the organization.

  • Responsible for acting independently on technical matters pertaining to the field. Work at this level usually requires extensive progressive experience.

  • Works under minimal supervision. Supervision received is essentially administrative with assignments given in terms of broad general objectives and limits.

  • Manages group of engineers and/or technicians, coordinating activities of the unit.

AECOM México busca Gerente Electromecánico para proyecto de gran envergadura en el sector ferroviario.

Funciones: Para cada proyecto, atender lo siguiente para las disciplinas aplicables dentro de la parte Electromecánica (mecánica, eléctrica, HVAC, PCI, Interfaces, Instalaciones especiales, telecomunicación, CCTV, otros):

Estimación de recursos para preparación de propuestas, definición de horas, entregables y metodología por aplicar.

Planeación de recursos para la cobertura de servicios en la fase de arranque de un proyecto.

Seguimiento, evaluación de desempeño del personal asignado a proyectos.

Revisión técnica de memorias de cálculo, planos y documentos de ingeniería relativos al diseño electromecánico.

Experiencia: Experiencia como gerente de diseño electromecánico en proyectos de infrestructura, transporte y edificación.

Manejo de personal técnico, concocimientos y experiencia en planeación de recursos, presupuestos para servicios de ingeniería.

Elaboración de reportes de: avance de diseño, inspección de sitios para proyectos potenciales o en fase de diseño o construcción.

Interacción con gerentes o jefes de área internos y con el cliente o supervisión.

Deseable acreditar 15 años de experiencia en posición similar, manejo del idioma inglés, disponibilidad para viajar.
