AECOM Quality Control / Safety Manager in Morrisville, North Carolina

Supervises the monitoring and evaluation process to ensure that AECOM quality management systems are being followed and evidence is recorded and maintained.
Provides guidance to employees within the latitude of established policies.
Recommends changes to policies and establishes procedures that affect immediate organization.
Works on issues of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors, including understanding of current business trends.
Acts as advisor to subordinates to meet schedules and/or resolve technical problems.
May have budget responsibilities.
Manages the coordination of activities of a group or department with responsibility for results.
In some instances, may be responsible for functional area and may not have direct reports.
Degree or equivalent in related field typically required, degree in quality control preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering or a related field and 6 years of related experience and/or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Minimum Requirement Equivalencies:
AA/AS degree in a related field and 8 years of related experience
High School Diploma/GED and 10 years of related experience
Additional Minimum Requirements:
5+ years of combined experience as a Superintendent, QC Manager Project Manager, or Project Engineer
Familiar with requirements of USACE EM 385-1 and experience in the areas of hazard identification and safety compliance
Computer/Software proficiency with Microsoft Office proficiency required (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Proficient in English in both written and oral communication
USACE (United States Army Corp of Engineers) Construction Quality Management for Contractors Training/Certification
Previous experience working with government clients; for example USACE and USAF
