AECOM is seeking a 1st shift Supervisor for our offices services team in an industrial facility in Mossville, IL!
- Typical work schedule is Monday – Friday, 7:30am – 4:00pm; hours may vary based on critical business demand.
The Supervisor is responsible for technical support, direction, safety training, audits and quality control for AECOM facility maintenance employees in a fast-paced industrial manufacturing environment. Analyzes, coordinates, and implements Office Services solutions, including project management and facility upgrades.
The Supervisor is responsible for the prioritization of work based on the needs of the client and for the on-time completion of all work, as well as all documentation involved. Provides and / or schedules needed training and cross-training for multi-functional employees. Implements all safety rules and guidelines for all AECOM employees.
Also responsible for scheduling, planning, documentation, maintaining performance and reporting with AECOM management team and client.
Monitor and/or manage the entry of correct documentation and scheduled maintenance via Maximo/SAP.
Manage reactive/corrective maintenance as it is reported and distribute to available technicians.
Lead safety program for the worksite and maintain reporting associated with safety activities.
Audit work performance for safety actions and quality of work, and provide coaching as needed.
Review new job requests to differentiate between in-scope and non-scope work, and address accordingly.
Maintain effective performance of individual employees and the worksite team.
Review and approve time reporting.
Compile, maintain and present various reports to AECOM management and client teams.
Perform Office design, layout, inventory and installation.
Coordinate audio visual design, installation and maintenance. Address A/V preventive maintenance as well as client requested repairs.
Compile semi-annual Occupancy accounting and reports.
Perform annual E-911 testing, reporting and remedy.

High School diploma or demonstrated equivalent.
Ten years of experience in a facility office support services role, or demonstrated equivalent combination of education and experience.
Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test.
This position may require a valid Driver’s License.

This position will require the ability to obtain a security access badge at our client’s location.
This position may require various shifts, weekends, and alternative work schedules.
Some tasks will require repetitive wrist movement.
Some tasks will require the ability to walk extensively throughout facilities during a workday.
Requires the ability to climb extension ladders, roof ladder, stepladders, and stairs as needed during a workday.
Requires the flexibility to bend/stoop, squat, kneel, reach/stretch, and move in a 90-degree fashion during workday.
Requires the ability to differentiate colors pertaining to wire color-coding.
Requires ability to read and understand information contained in a variety of documents or displayed on a computer screen.
Requires ability to use a variety of office equipment and to operate a computer keyboard to access data bases, to send/receive messages and to prepare documents.
Requires ability to attend meetings throughout the site and potentially travel to other AECOM, customer and/or vendor locations in the area, as well as some air travel to more distant locations.
Requires the ability to communicate with others on the telephone and in one-on-one or group discussions, meetings and presentations.
Demonstrated fluency in computer use including the full Microsoft product line.
Requires some moving of light to medium weight materials into desks, filing cabinets and other storage locations.
Requires the ability to interact with all clients in a professional and friendly manner despite periods of stress.
Wear steel toe safety shoes, safety glasses, gloves, hard hats and other Personal Protective Equipment as needed.
Cope with demands (stressors) that are associated with the job and/or the work environment so that acceptable levels of performance and overall contribution are maintained.
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent trade school credentials.
Four years of experience in a Lead or Supervisory role in a highly structured safety environment.
Experience in a leadership position demonstrating the ability to analyze Office Services related problems, including project management and facility upgrades.
Experience in a supervisory or Sub-contract management capacity within a technical industrial environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites with emphasis on the ability to navigate and formulate within Excel and Access.
Proficient in AutoCADD and Archibus
Experience developing Power Point presentations and presenting in front of large audiences.
Experience with the development and training of a multi-skilled technical workforce.
Experience creating and analyzing metrics that drive performance results.
Experience with Continuous Improvement disciplines such as Six Sigma, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, 5S, 4 M’s, etc.
- Must be willing to work overtime when required. May be required to work holidays and weekends.
