AECOM Traffic Monitoring Technician in Mount Clemens, Michigan

United States of America - Michigan, Mount Clemens

Job Summary

AECOM is actively seeking a highly motivated Control Room Technician (CRT) for immediate employment. Traffic operations centers provide a centralized location for stakeholder communications, information dissemination, asset management, and traffic monitoring. The applicant will need to be professional, self-motivated, resourceful, and able to successfully execute various tasks in a fast-based environment with ever changing priorities.

Once assessment is complete, CRTs determine the facts and severity of traffic incidents and prepare the information for dissemination to the motoring public. In addition, CRTs are responsible for the maintenance, quality, accuracy and timeliness of all information disseminated, including social media and text messages.

CRTs may be required to work weekends, major holidays, and overnight shifts, as typically assigned. A typical daily office schedule will be set; however, the applicant will be expected to work additional hours either before or after the typical shift, as needed.
