Job Summary

This position is a on-call/part-time position.

Assists with the maintenance and operations of government owned and contractor acquired equipment /systems using planned and unplanned maintenance including troubleshooting; disassembling, repairing, aligning, and testing to successfully fulfill mission requirements, to include:

Internal Communication Systems

Range scoring systems

Radios and related equipment

Portable communications equipment

TMDE test equipment

Mobile Land Target (MLT) Autonomous vehicle target systems and vehicles

Operates and coordinates maintenance for:

Equipment onsite that is classified as Government Furnished Equipment (GFE), Contractor Acquired material (CAM) and Test Measurement and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE)

Range scoring systems

Auto-transfer or Interruptible Power Supply (UPS) equipment

Assists in identifying, creating, implementation and performance detailed preventative maintenance procedures for systems and equipment necessary for daily mission operations.

Utilize IEMS systems (Maximo and Share Point) to document work orders opened, file work log entries, create purchase requests and perform required receiving procedures for material and equipment received.

Perform Operations and Maintenance on all MLT systems and assets. Identify, create and modify MLT mapping requirements in order to build proficient and environmentally safe travel paths for MLT assets.

When performing work, be responsible for adhering to environmental, safety and health standards related to the activity, including the wearing of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Must cease work and notify manager of all unsafe conditions.

Must successfully complete all assigned training and ensure its entry into their training jacket, to include but not limited to monthly CTTR training assigned in sharepoint, government assigned in TWMS, and all other no-recurring training as assigned.

Assist with design, fabrication, cost analysis, procurement, installation, configuration change, development, documentation, and integration and expansion of the MLT systems/Programs.

Assist with equipment utilization and cost analysis optimization studies, engineering studies, integration and installation in support of program growth or other requirements.

Inoperative systems support as assigned, to include actions necessary to return equipment/systems to operational status. Perform support actions to include equipment and software changes and additions relative to short-term operational test programs for the MLT.

Ensure all work performed on your site adheres to environmental, safety, and health standards related to the activity, including the wearing of all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Must cease work and notify supervisor, or manager of all unsafe conditions.

Ensure all work performed on the site accurately documented in the IEMS.

Assists in identifying sources for spare parts for electronic and MLT systems.

Tower climbing certification may be required to accomplish specific maintenance.

Other duties as assigned by Lead or Manager.

Minimum Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.

Formal classroom education equivalent to Navy “C” School or vocational school with formal training in the field of electronic equipment maintenance.

Two years’ electronic maintenance in four (4) or more of the following areas (as applicable):

Digital/analog signal processing;

Synchro-servo circuits;

Radar and radar theory;

Electromechanical devices;

Video signal processing and recording;

Communications (multiplexer equipment);

Digital/analog computer systems;

DC power supplies;

Test equipment;

Optical equipment;

RF signal processing;

Antenna systems;

Low-voltage AC equipment;

Primary and secondary power equipment;

Auto-transfer (UPS) equipment;

Portable AC generators.

Ability to lift 50 lbs on a regular basis during work shift.

Must possess a valid state Driver’s License.

Must maintain current CPR/First Aid certification.

May be required to maintain Laser Safety Certification.

May be required to obtain and maintain current Safety at Heights climber certification.

May be required to maintain current RF Radiation Awareness certification.
