Job Description
AECOM is currently seeking a Program Manager for our New Orleans, LA office. This role will manage and direct the AECOM Project & Construction Management Team and execution and delivery of the Program, including systems and procedures to support execution. They will manage all AECOM staff and other assigned PM TEAM staff, Consultants and Contractors involved in the program. This role reports to the Client Project Lead.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Day to day management and coordination of project work scope
Development of the Project Execution Plan
Resolving quality or technical disputes between Owner and Design / GC Firms
Development of cost estimates, budget and management of risks
Assisting owner in development of the scope of work for RFPs (Design and Construction)
Application of fit-for-purpose application of ORS to all projects and delivery of all necessary deliverables at DG4, including project scope definition, cost estimate, project execution plan and schedule
Stakeholder Management with Owner’s team, P&T Stakeholders, Design and General Contractors, onsite support services, regulatory entities, etc.
Management and coordination of Project Managers, Project Controls Team and Construction personnel
Management and coordination of Construction and Commissioning Activities
Coordination of design work with the Design Manager
Project to Asset Handover
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
- BA/BS + 12 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
