AECOM BIM Coordination Manager - AECOM Tishman in New York City, New York

Job Summary

AECOM Tishman has delivered many of the most globally recognized, iconic buildings, defining the skylines of the world’s most notable and recognized cities. From mega developments to super tall structures to luxury residential destinations, our teams of experts work in partnership with owners, design teams and community stakeholders on every project aspect – from preconstruction to turnover – to collaboratively develop and implement optimal plans for flawless execution.

Responsibilities include but not limited too:

  • Develop 3D models to facilitate system coordination.

  • Facilitate system coordination processes utilizing 3D modeling techniques.

  • Prepare site plans, logistic plans and graphic materials as necessary.

  • Develop strategic relationships with architects, engineers and contractors.

  • Perform constructability evaluations of design documents.

  • Develop 3D models for 4D schedule utilization.

  • Support onsite design/model coordinators.

  • Provide design coordination support.

Minimum Requirements

BA/BS plus eight years of experience or equivalency

Preferred Qualifications

  • B.S. in Engineering, Architecture or Construction Management or the equivalent

  • A strong knowledge of Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD

  • Strong experience and knowledge of all aspects of design and construction industry.

  • Good management skills, planning skills, organization skills and communication skills.

  • Demonstrate proficiency with production, interpretation, and utilization of 3D modeling techniques.

  • AutoCAD, Revit and/or Navisworks expertise.
