AECOM Construction Engineering I in New York City, New York
AECOM is looking for entry level Engineering candidates to staff program and construction management projects in the NYC metropolitan area. The successful candidates with have a bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a closely related field. The projects will be transportation infrastructure projects primarily in the highway bridge or rail transit sectors. We have opportunities for Engineers in various disciplines including Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Structural, etc.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Under direct supervision, performs routine duties requiring knowledge of basic engineering principles
Limited exercise of judgment is required on details of work
Performs specific and limited portions of broader assignments
Spends large percentage of time performing estimating take-offs and performing walk-downs for quantity tracking purposes, reporting of installed quantities, performing field inspections to verify adherence to design

BA/BS + None or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Valid Drivers License
NY Metro Transportation, infrastructure, highway, bridge or rail transit project experience
2 years related experience
