AECOM Construction Inspector in New York City, New York

United States of America - New York, New York City

Job Summary

AECOM is seeking a full time Construction Inspector to oversee elevator shaft repairs in a historic Federal Building in Lower Manhattan.

Scope includes select asbestos abatement, plaster outer wall removal that is coated in lead based paint, terra cotta wall replacement, replacement of plaster and finishing in thirteen elevator shafts. The work will be performed during the night shift with potential weekend days.

Minimum Requirements

  • High School diploma and four (4) years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

  • Four (4) years experience in construction management/construction inspection with experience on projects involving asbestos and lead abatement

Preferred Qualifications

  • EPA RRP lead certification with EPA lead inspector/risk assessor or EPA lead inspector/risk assessor without RRP

  • Must pass a Federal background check
