AECOM is actively seeking a Civil or Environmental Engineer to join our Remediation Engineering team in New York City for employment to be a task leader. You will work with a diverse team of technical leaders across a broad range of practice areas delivering remediation consulting services to our key clients.
Candidate will be able to work as part of a project team comprised of AECOM staff and subcontractors. Flexibility to work on a multitude of diverse projects, a positive attitude, willingness to mentor junior staff, and commitment to workplace health and safety are imperative. Field work may be required including oversight of subcontractors.
Responsibilities will include, but may not be limited to the following:
Provide engineering and environmental compliance support for design, construction, and operation of soil and groundwater remediation systems located at former waste sites and operating manufacturing facilities.
Plan and direct Phase I and Phase II environmental site assessments, sampling and remediation programs, and critically evaluating analytical data.
Project and task support, report writing, cost estimating, remedial systems design support.
Qualified candidates must be comfortable with periodic travel.

BA/BS and 4 years of experience in environmental site remediation, including experience with investigations through site clean-up and closure is required and or demonstrated equivalency of experience and or education.
