AECOM On-site Office Engineer in New York City, New York
AECOM is seeking an On-site Office Engineer who is responsible of oversight and maintenance of project record logs, including organizing these records in a way that makes it easy for project members to access the appropriate documents via PMIS and other means.
This position is located on-site which is close proximity to the upper west side of Manhattan. The successful candidate will have experience working on site in a field environment. This role is 100% field work.
Responsibilities and specific tasks include but not limited to:
Assist with the processing and reviewing of Progress Payments for contractors
Assist with handling of ODC requests and expenditures for required upkeep of CM Trailer Complex, including but not limited to, internet/phone services, janitorial services, office supplies procurement, and building maintenance items
Provide assistance to Construction Manager and Resident Engineers in drafting letters and replying to DEP requests for information
Responsible to prepare drafts of monthly PMIS reports for all projects for review by RE/ARE Assist with preparation of monthly I &T presentation
Attend I&T meetings to prepare meeting minutes with action items, and to properly file I&T reports in e-builder
Assist with maintenance of records for the Inspector’s test reports
Follow-up with lead inspectors and project administration staff for completion of critical issues and tasks
Monitor Contractor turnover of all Spare Parts and Operations and Maintenance Manuals to BWT / Plant Operations for all projects. Monitor all Training sessions between the Contractor/Vendor and Plant Operations for all projects Maintain tracking logs for the Closeout of all projects that have reached Substantial Completion including but not limited to
Manufacturer & Contractor Warranties Management
Final Copies (electronic, paper, microfilm as required) of all Closeout Volumes
NYC Dept. of Buildings Bureau of Electrical Control Certificate of Completion
Transmittal of all Final Record Documents

- BA/BS plus None or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
BS of Engineering
3 plus years of relative experience
Experience with project finances and project controls
Strong communication skills
Experience with NY City Department of Environmental Protection
