AECOM Technical Delivery Manager - App Development in New York City, New York

Job Summary

AECOM is actively seeking a highly talented, self-driven and motivated Technical Delivery Manager for immediate employment in New York, New York office.

This position is expected to begin in July 2022

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Possesses thorough job knowledge and is fully competent in all aspects of the job including strong proficiency in enterprise document management, relational databases, and internet based project collaboration systems

  • Responsible for overall project administration in area of document management (home office and field)

  • Oversees internal/external document review process

  • Assists with the creation and documentation of requests to destroy records

  • Maintains proper document configuration management in support of engineering and construction

  • Interfaces with project material control, scheduling, expediting, and client engineering to ensure time/cost effectiveness of all documentation activities

  • Provides input to weekly project status reporting

  • Displays extensive knowledge of scope control and impacts on project information management

  • Applies sound judgment and experience to effective leadership of the project information management function on a large project, multiple projects, or a group

  • Assumes mentoring and training roles as required

  • Delegates, supervises and evaluates subordinate’s work assignments

  • Provides necessary training to Project Information Management department personnel

Program Management

Minimum Requirements

  • BA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering or a related degree + 8 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

Preferred Qualifications

  • 8 years of hands-on experience with SharePoint, Azure, and Power Platform

  • 4 years of experience as a software developer

  • Experience with Program/Project Management products (PMIS) and Reporting/Dashboard solutions

  • Microsoft Azure Certification desirable

  • Show a keenness to learn, stay up to date with evolving Microsoft offerings and be exposed to a variety of problems, clients, and technologies

  • Well versed with programming tools, databases, web server tools

  • Comfortable in a client facing and consulting environment

  • SharePoint administration including site collections, sites, pages, custom lists, content types, security/Azure AD groups & roles, and PowerShell

  • Working Knowledge of Power Apps and Power Automate

  • Relocation is not available for this position
