Job Description

AECOM Tishman is seeking a BIM Specialist to be based in New York, New York .

This position is expected to begin in immediately.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Works under direct supervision.

  • Report to MEP Project Manager and/or BIM Coordination Manager.

  • Assists the BIM Coordination Manager with meetings, clash detection, issue reporting, and tracking log creation.

  • Assists with creating and modifying 3D models, renderings and/or animations for promotion, proposals, and logistics.

  • Manage VDC technology initiatives that have been implemented to support project goals.

  • May help to create or maintain standards, processes, and goals.

  • Manage electronic file structure on cloud based file repository.

  • Interface between Design Consultants and Subcontracted BIM Drafters

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Candidate must have completed Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Structural Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline, plus 2 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Proficient with production, interpretation, and utilization of 3D modeling techniques.

  • Working knowledge of drawing production and standard construction techniques and principles.

  • AutoCAD, Revit, and/or Navisworks expertise.

  • Knowledge of Procore.

  • Knowledge of Revizto or similar BIM coordination software

Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $35.00/hour - $55.00/hour.
