Job Summary

AECOM is seeking a Legal Intern to be based in NYC.

This position is expected to begin in June 2022.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Internships are designed to introduce and build essential, hands on skills that differ from those attained in the academic arena and help to enhance the transition from student to professional.

  • interns are assigned duties that will provide a broad, well-rounded learning experience within their field of study

  • Interns will be responsible for summarizing construction management contracts

  • Interns will assist and support Construction Management Counsel in various legal related tasks

  • Interns will assist and support Construction Management Analysts in various business related tasks

Minimum Requirements

  • Currently pursuing bachelor’s degree from an accredited 4-year college or University

  • Must have completed 3 rd year of qualified study

  • Due to the nature of work, US citizen is required

Preferred Qualifications

  • GPA of 3.0 and higher

  • Demonstrated knowledge of and interest in the construction management / real estate industry

  • Basic Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Powerpoint, Word, Outlook, Teams)

  • Prior relevant internships or academic projects

  • Relocation per diem is not available for this position.
