Job Description
Regional Business Line Leader (RBLL), Buildings + Places, U.S. East
Reporting to the Regional Chief Executive, this role will act as the leader of the B+P business within the U.S. East strategic business unit (SBU), collaborating with the Regional Chief Executive and leadership team, B+P leaders in the region, Client Account Managers and other stakeholders to coordinate all B+P matters in the SBU.
They will act as the focal point of day-to-day communication between the region and the Global Business Line (GBL) teams to understand and communicate regional priorities, lead strategic regional B+P bids,facilitate identification of future B+P pursuits and provide oversight and ensure operational support to in-flight programs.
This role will also play a critical part in defining and implementing the regional B+P growth strategy.
About the Role
General
Responsible for providing strategic leadership of the region’s B+P business
Act as day-to-day liaison between the Regional Chief Executive and other regional B+P leaders and the GBL team, providing regular feedback and facilitating wider conversations and partnering as appropriate
Accountable for setting and implementing business strategies, objectives, and financial outcomes
Advances the strategic direction of the business line and positions the business line for sustained and continued profitable growth consistent within the context of the strategic plan.
Provides leadership within the region by communicating the strategy and objectives of the B+P Regional focus and GBL.
Participates in developing region growth and business development strategy in collaboration with B+P leaders, market sector leaders and account managers.
Ensures the success and growth of the business line within the region and in collaboration with other regions.
Sales and Growth
Report and participate on all B+P bids in the region.
Own coordination of the forming of program teams as part of bids and mobilization.
Work with the local CSO team to analyze and understand long, medium- and short-term B+P opportunities to advise strategic planning and pursuit prioritization.
B+P Operations
Work with local program managers to understand, oversee and report on the ongoing performance of programs in delivery to identify where support may be required for both B+P and Advisory opportunities
Responsible for B+P P&L including revenue generation, project margin achievement, DSO, G&A, project delivery, client satisfaction, staff utilization, safety, claims resolution and quality.
Capability Development (People, Practice and Tools)
Liaise with Strategic Resourcing Leaders and Human Resources to strategically manage B+P resource levels and availability
Support the identification, pipelining, and succession planning for regional B+P talent
Take a degree of responsibility for B+P resources and application of B+P/B+P advisory methodologies in the region
Coordinate with regional digitization resources as applicable

Highly collaborative, working with other regional business line leaders to share knowledge and intelligence
Experience in business development and growth
Qualifications
BA/BS + 12 plus years of experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education, including 6 years of leadership
12+ Years of progressive experience in the A/E/C Industry with a focus on one or more of the following services: architecture + interiors, building + system engineering, cost + project management and/or Urbanism and planning.
Experience in the Transportation and Federal Market
Experience Managing and delivering a P+L
Preferred Qualifications:
Licensed Engineer or Architect
Advanced degree or MBA.

Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. Bonus opportunities are tied to both company and individual performance and vary from year-to-year. The salary range for this position is $250,000 - $400,000.
